Opening weekend event updates

Following the Aston-Le-Walls abandonment the ERA of GB team have been in touch with Moreton, Epworth and Isleham to get the latest updates to share with riders.

Isleham

• Forecast is currently dry for Wednesday through to Friday with good drying conditions.  They currently have no concerns over the condition of the ground.
• Showjumping track will be on fresh ground on Sunday and the showjumping warm up will be extended to including fresh ground as well.
• They have the potential to run, and are willing to run an extra BE90 section on Sunday if there is significant entry requests.
• Course inspection on Wednesday

Epworth

• Pumps are running 24/7 to keep their ditches clear and to allow the free draining ground to do its job.  The cross-country is on sandy soil that drains quickly and everything is looking very positive.
• Dressage has lots of space and all arenas could be moved to fresh ground on Sunday if required.
• Showjumping is on a surface, including the warm up

Moreton 

• Have adjusted the layout to reduce the traffic on key access routes.  This includes moving the secretary tent to hard standing and away from the cross-country, a new vehicle access route has been added to the rear of the cross-country for fence judges and they have plenty of hard standing parking.
• Showjumping is on a surface
• 10 acre dressage field and all arenas can be moved to fresh ground for Sunday if required
• Cross-country is on sand and gravel and therefore drains very quickly
• They will be doing everything they can to ensure the Regional Finals on Sunday go ahead
• Course inspection on Tuesday
