Martin Wright - Kent
I am a 55 year old amateur rider based in Kent and working full time in petrochemicals.  I came up through the Pony Club from a non equestrian background and have previously ridden up to We were involved in training a group of Wobbleberry riders in 2018 and enjoy helping riders, especially adult returners to make the step up to affiliated competition in all disciplines.  I was previously a Pony Club Area Representative and Trustee.

I am currently based in South Yorkshire, having lived in Essex/ Cambridgeshire for most of my life. I am only recently discovering the bug that is eventing after acquiring a super bold youngster who has a love for XC!  We dipped our toe in the water, using day tickets and completed a few 80s and have since become a full member and have managed to get round a few 90s last year.  I am a true grassroots rider, balancing trying to event with a full time job, family, a house full of animals and am also full time slave to my 32 year old horse!

Sylvia Wajzner - Northamptonshire / Bedfordshire
I am a retired Corporate Banker living with my husband Dan on our family farm in North Bedfordshire. I have been riding & competing all my life but spent the last 20yrs on the ground supporting our daughter Beth with her 3 horses on the BE circuit up to Intermediate level. I regularly volunteer at BE events from scoring to fence judging to dressage writing. 2 yrs ago I bought my horse Blue and decided to give BE a go -  I’ve been hooked ever since!

Sarah Beadle - Warwickshire
I have been a member of BE on and off for around 20 years. I took a break from riding when we lived abroad for 3 years but as soon as we came home I was hungry for more.  I currently compete at Novice/2* level whilst juggling a young family.

Pip Kerby - Dorset
I'm a 26-year-old prep school teacher based in Dorset. Eventing is a hobby I just can't shake and I have been lucky enough to come up through Ponies, Juniors and Young Riders. I now have all my eggs in one basket with one horse, who has just stepped up to Intermediate.

Elaine Tragett - Wiltshire
I am a Cornish lass at heart so the West Country is very important to me, I am now based in Wiltshire. I work full time in the IT industry to fund my very keen attempts at eventing.  When not competing I will often be found as a steward, writer or general helper somewhere at local BE events, putting back into our sport as much as I can.

Mary Pearson - Scotland
I am a small animal and equine vet currently based in East Renfrewshire. I started eventing 12 years ago when I became too old to continue with pony club mounted games! I was quickly bitten by the eventing bug and haven't looked back since then. I currently have one horse of my own who has just stepped up to intermediate level and I am excited to see how far we can go over the next few years.

Sarah Gairdner - Oxfordshire
I grew up through Pony Club and made the natural progression to BE, producing my homebred to Advanced (3* Old money) and currently have young horses up to Intermediate. I am also a BE coach and have volunteered for many roles at events.

Compared to some I’m relatively new to the sport. I got the “bug” after competing in the unaffiliated 3 day at Milton Keynes in 2010 it was great fun and I wanted more. I joined BE the following year. I have produced all my own horses from unbacked 3 year olds. I currently have 2 horses competing successfully at Novice/2* and a very exciting rising 5 year old by Quality Time.
